The Collection
Holding approximately 4 million specimens, the OAC Insect Collection is Canada’s fourth largest insect collection. Containing a significant collection of flies (Diptera) from the New World, and many specimens from extirpated species. The OAC Insect Collection prioritizes collaboration and is heavily involved with research projects with other institutions to support entomological research.
