iBIG

The Interdisciplinary Biodiversity Initiative at Guelph (iBIG) is a collaboration between all the UoG biodiversity-related research community. Working with scientists from all areas of expertise in biodiversity science, makes it possible to tackle problems with innovative approaches in ways that could not be achieved alone. iBIG members research problems from the soil microbiome to global patterns of biodiversity as well as the social, ethical, and legal issues associated with this emerging science.

iBIG's Goals

We aim to increase interdisciplinary training opportunities through closer collaboration between departments and disciplines. iBIG acts as a focal point for biodiversity-related research at UoG for the benefit of researchers in all departments and Colleges
